Easter, the Zombie Story

Easter is a celebration of the death and resurrection of a man named Jesus. He was murdered and on the third day came back to life.Outside of the faith of Christianity, this can seem as if its a story of a Zombie celebrated with a “weird” custom of eggs.

Easter Sunday is celebrated in Ecuador with a street procession carrying out an reenactment of Jesus’ death.  The most iconic part of this procession is the Cucuruchos. These are med dressed in purple with pointy hats.

To those outside of Ecuador, these men look like a prince-styled KKK.  It has nothing to with that!

So remember that your faith can seem as strange to others as much as you think other people’s religion is “weird.”

So Lets be tolerant, folks!
